Around the time I joined, the team had been developing our app for a pretty broad audience: knowledge workers. But without any foundational research, we needed to discover the productivity issues modern day Engineers were experiencing in the workplace.


The team agreed that in order to publicly launch our MVP, we needed to meet or exceed the quality bar of already existing productivity apps in order to gain traction with users and potential investors.
